Blogger Love!

Hi there!
For this weeks post I thought I'd do the Blogger Love Tag which was created by Fee from Makeupsavvy. Thanks to Fee for creating this tag and letting people use the questions!

What was the first blog you ever came across?
I think the first blog I read was either Zoella or Tanya Burr. I'd been watching both of them on YouTube for a while and decided to click the link for one of their blogs. They're both absolutely lovely.

Favourite beauty blog reads.

Best blogging friend.
I don't really have any blogger friends yet as I'm just starting out but I did find out the other day that my friend Holly from school has a blog! Her blog is called Little Miss Wheely

Name a blog that enables your purchases.
This is actually a hard one as I tend to see things in posts that I like the look of and then go out and buy them as soon as I can but gh0stparties is definitely an enabler for me. I wanted to buy everything featured in her Drugstore Must Haves (link) post and video!

5 blogs everyone should be reading.
Your favourite way to read blogs.
I tend to read blogs via bloglovin when I'm on my phone or iPad, Google just made it so confusing for me! I check when I wake up in the morning and then nearly miss my train every day as I just lie in my bed reading blogs!

Bloggers that inspire you.
Khila from Miss Budget Beauty inspires me a lot because she's so successful and has grown such a large audience. Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter is also very inspiring to me, she always has a positive attitude and that shows in her posts and videos. She's always able to cheer me up.

Favourite blog design/look.
I love Sabrina's design on her blog A Little Obsessed. It's simple and that's what I like. I hate when there's lots of things going on around the edges of blogs as I sometimes find it distracting.

What is your favourite thing about blogging?
This is a tough question as I've not been blogging for long but I love how the whole blogging community comes together and values each others opinions. I love sharing my thoughts and having a creative outlet.

Name a blogger you would most like to see write a book in the future.
I'd love for Sprinkle of Glitter and Zoella to write a book together. Not really about beauty but about positivity and being happy.

I hope you enjoyed reading this, and remember, spread the love!

Soap & Glory Once Upon A Lime

Soap & Glory Once Upon A Lime
I was lucky enough to receive the Soap & Glory Once Upon A Lime gift set for Christmas, so I thought I'd review it. I'm not sure if the set is still available at Boots, but you can purchase all the products separately. So, overall I think this set is brilliant, it's everything you need to take care of your body. Everything in the set has a beautiful lime scent, which lingers after use.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash
The body wash from this set is lovely, it has a great lather and the smells lingers in the bathroom for a while after use. There's not really much to say about shower gels, except this one smells so good! As with the rest of the set it has a lime scent, but it washes off with the product. It's quite creamy, therefore moisturizing, which is always a good thing. You can buy it here for £6.50

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
It took me a few goes to get used to this product, and it's my least favourite from the set. It's like a hard gel in the pot, which doesn't really melt into my skin, it just leaves a film. From other reviews I've read, I can't figure out whether I've got a dodgy one or if it's meant to be a hard gel in the container? Other than that, it's a really good scrub, gets off the dead skin perfectly, not too grainy or too soft. I mainly use it on the drier area's, such as my elbows and knees, and it's doing a good job of removing the dead skin and moisturizing the areas. You can buy it here for £8.00.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream
The body buttercream is by far the best product in the set! It's really moisturizing on the skin, and even though I've only used it a few times I can already feel a difference to my skin. My skin's now more hydrated and smooth, it's a perfect moisturizer for the winter as it's thick but not greasy. A little goes a long way with this product, so it's definitely worth the £10.50 price tag. You can buy it here.

Overall, I do really like the set, it came in a lovely box which I'm now using to house new products. A little goes a long way with all the products, so they're worth their prices. You might even be able to get them 3 for 2 at Boots.

Thanks for reading.

I Don't Know What To Say?

As this is my official blog post, I'm having a hard time thinking about what to write. I wasn't sure whether to dive right in with a review or take the time to introduce myself to you. I think I'll go with the latter and save the review for later on.
I wrote a short post last month whilst I was setting up my blog, just saying who I am and when I was going to start posting, but in case you didn't get to read it, I'm Jasmine, I'm 16, currently studying Beauty Therapy, and I've started this blog purely because I love all things beauty (hence the name, hehe). And, as promised, January 1st, my first post. Although its not exactly beauty related, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself to you, also I can't say that every single post I write will be about beauty, but the majority will be. I'm not yet sure what days I'll post, but it will definitely be twice a week for now.
I think I'll leave it there for now, thank you for reading and look out for my next post!

Before I write anything on this blog, I'd like to say a big thank you to Beautiful Solutions for her posts about starting a blog. Anyone who's thinking about starting a blog should definitely check them out! So, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Jasmine, I'm 16 and I'm currently studying Beauty Therapy at college. This blog is going to be all about beauty, with the occasional fashion post and maybe even a few tags. My first official post will be on January 1st, I want to work out all the kinks on my blog first. I'm hoping to be able to post twice a week to start with, and then eventually I'll be posting more regularly.
If you want to catch my first post, follow me on bloglovin' here. I'll be tweeting regularly so feel free to follow me there, my username is @andallthingsb. If you have any questions or suggestions for posts, you can e-mail me at andallthingsbeauty@gmail.com.
Thanks for reading!
